Sponsors

For the first time in the history of the Gravesend Regatta, 2006 saw sponsorship of our boats. In return for sponsorship, the Society advertises the company name on the side of each skiff and our motor boat. Your company may also show in the photos on our posters. Every time the Regattas are reported in the local papers, the accompanying photographs serve as a further advertisement.

Sponsorship monies go towards the maintenance of all the Societies boats plus the cost of the Regattas, races and trophies. You can see who our current sponsors are in OUR SPONSORS above.

The Society is extremely grateful to all our sponsors and other companies who help us with funding or by just being associated with us. We wouldn’t be able to keep the tradition of skiff rowing alive in Gravesend without them.

If you think you would like to help by either sponsoring a boat or, perhaps, sponsoring a race, please contact Chairman or trustees of the Society

gbc The Council does not charge a hire fee for the use of the Promenade and safety barriers on the Regatta weekends. The rent and rates for our boathouse behind the Promenade Cafe are grant-aided

KCCThe Regatta Society has received a number of grants from Kent County Council through their Neighbourhood Forum Grants System and from our local KCC Councillors.
